Volleyball World League 2001
The 2001 season of the World Volleyball League was the twelfth edition of the competition. It started on May 11th and ended on June 30th. Brazil won the title for the second time.

The preliminary round ("intercontinental round") was held in four groups with four teams each. The two best teams in each group qualified for the final round. There they played in two groups of four. The two best teams of the two final groups reached the semifinals.
