Volleyball World League 1992

The 1992 season of the World Volleyball League was the third edition of the competition. It started on May 1st and ended on September 5th. Italy won the title for the third time in a row.

The preliminary round ("intercontinental round") was held in three groups of four teams each. The two best teams in each group qualified for the Final Six. The four best teams in this group of six reached the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals played the final, the losers played for third place.
