Volleyball World League 1990
The 1990 season of the World Volleyball League was the first edition of the competition. It started on April 27th and ended on July 15th. Italy won the title.

The preliminary round was held in two groups of four teams each. The two best teams in each group qualified for the semi-finals, in which they crossed one another. The winners of the semi-finals played the final, the losers played for third place.
