history
Wörgl-Rattenberg (“entern Bach”) has a Romanesque town center in its basic form , which stretches along the Wörgler Bach in a water-oriented manner. In 1416, Wörgl was administratively divided into two regional courts, with the Wörgl localities on the left (west side) of the Wörgl brook falling to Rattenberg .
In 1815 Wörgl-Rattenberg was declared an independent political municipality.
The affiliation as a dependent fraction of the neighboring municipality Kundl took place in 1854, before Wörgl-Rattenberg was again raised to an independent municipality in 1863.
On June 23, 1910, the Wörgl-Kufstein municipal council agreed to a village association with Wörgl-Rattenberg; Wörgl-Rattenberg's consent came on July 4, 1910, after village chief Gruber was able to convince his council of the merger. The municipal consolidation took place on December 31, 1910. The elevation of the newly created place Wörgl to market by Emperor Franz Joseph I was completed on March 28, 1911.
politics
Elections (or confirmations) of so-called village chiefs were held annually on November 11th. Since there was no permanent municipal office, the municipal assemblies alternated between the three inns Alte Post, Neue Post and the Gasthof zum Weißen Lamm in the center of the village of Wörgl.
