The Waldwiesenbachtal of Oberhöchstadt is a nature reserve in Oberhöchstadt in the Hochtaunus district .

The nature reserve

The nature reserve with a size of 11.11 hectares was placed under protection on November 24, 1989. The nature reserve consists of areas in corridor 22 of Oberhöchstadt. The protected area is a meadow valley with numerous rare, partly endangered plant species. The aim of the designation of the area is the extensive use of the green areas to protect these species. In order to avoid encroachment, the forest regularly cuts back the alder and other deciduous trees.
