Detzelbachtal near Wernborn

The Detzelbachtal near Wernborn is a nature reserve in Wernborn in the Hochtaunus district .

The nature reserve

The nature reserve with a size of 7.73 hectares was placed under protection on August 2, 1995. The nature reserve consists of areas in corridor 4 of Wernborn above federal highway 275 . These are moist tall herbaceous meadows, brook reeds, species-rich wetlands and hay meadows and the natural flowing waters of the Detzelbach . A large number of endangered plants and animals can be found in the nature reserve. The aim of the designation of the area is the extensive use of the hay meadows and the keeping of the meadow valley open.
