Varvara Alexandrovna Flink ( Russian Варвара Александровна Флинк , English transcription Varvara Flink ; born December 13, 1996 in Moscow ) is a Russian tennis player .

Career

Quickly began playing tennis at the age of nine and her preferred playing surface is the clay court. She primarily plays tournaments on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour , where she has already won six singles and two doubles.

She played her first professional tournament in January 2011 in Plantation , Florida . In 2013, Flink won the Orange Bowl . In 2016 she reached her first three finals, but she couldn't win any of them. In the final of the $ 50,000 Abierto Tampico she was defeated by Sofja Schuk 4-6 and 3-6. In May 2017, she won her first title at the $ 15,000 tournament in Antalya.

Flink made her debut on the WTA Tour 2012 at the Baku Cup , where she lost 6: 3, 3: 6 and 2: 6 to Tamarine Tanasugarn in the first round of the women's singles .
