Weidenbruch (nature reserve)

The Weidenbruch nature reserve is located in the Altenkirchen (Westerwald) district in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The approximately 27 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1984 , extends east of the local community of Elkenroth . On the northern edge the Elbbach flows, on the southwestern edge the state road L 287 runs. Not far north of the area runs the L 286. To the east is the 8 hectare Elkenrother pond .
