course
The consecration arises in the Richelsdorf Mountains . Its source is east of the village of Bauhaus on the eastern flank of the Bauhaus height ( 416.3 m above sea level ).
Initially, the consecration flows in an east-southeast direction through the village of Suss , after which it passes the Richelsdorfer Hütte and runs through Richelsdorf . Then the brook heads for the Hessian-Thuringian border. After crossing them and crossing under the federal autobahn 4 on the Weihetalbrücke and the Thuringian Railway (each in the section between Gerstungen and Wildeck - Obersuhl ), the Weihe flows through Untersuhl to shortly afterwards absorb the Suhl coming from the west .
Then the consecration bends to the north-northeast, 800 m after crossing the Gerstungen – Vacha ( freight transport ) line branching off from the aforementioned Thuringian Railway, flowing into the Werra coming from the south .
