Weld is a live album by Neil Young and Crazy Horse . It was recorded on the 1991 North American tour and released on October 22, 1991. Unlike the live album Live Rust , which was recorded on October 22, 1978 in San Francisco, Weld is a compilation of various locations on the tour.
Weld was partly published together with the sound collage Arc as a "Special limited edition" (three CDs) under the title Arc-Weld . In Arc is a nearly 35-minute mix of song beginnings and ends, during the same tour recorded on the especially noise, guitar feedback can be heard and vocal snippets.
