Flow path

The Wellspanger Au rises from the Langsee and flows through Wellspang shortly afterwards on its roughly northeastern path . At Kattbek the Kattbeker Au coming from Böklund and the Ekeberger Au coming from Uelsby flow into the Wellspanger Au, both from the left. In Boholzau, the Dingwatter Au from Schnarup-Thumby finally flows in from the same side . From there the Au Boholzer Au is called. Then after approx. 9 km the Boholzer Au, at the Kreuzau in Brebelholz , finally merges with the Oxbek , which is approaching approximately in the opposite direction , to the Loiter Au , which first drains south-east and later more south to the Schlei .
