World Heritage in Uganda
The World Heritage in Uganda (as of 2016) includes three UNESCO World Heritage Sites , including one World Heritage Site and two World Natural Heritage sites. The African landlocked country Uganda joined the World Heritage Convention in 1987, and the Bwindi Primeval Forest National Park and the Ruwenzori Mountains National Park were added to the World Heritage List in 1994 as the first two world heritage sites. The graves of the Buganda kings in Kasubi were registered in 2001 as the last world heritage site in Uganda ; they have been on the Red List of World Heritage in Danger since 2010 .
