World Heritage Sites in Mali |
The world heritage in Mali (as of 2016) includes four UNESCO world heritage sites , including three world cultural heritage sites and a mixed cultural and natural heritage site. Mali joined the World Heritage Convention in 1977, and the first World Heritage site was added to the World Heritage List in 1988. The last world heritage site to date was registered in 2004, and all three cultural heritage sites are on the Red List of World Heritage in Danger .
