World Heritage Sites in Senegal |
The world heritage in Senegal (as of 2016) includes seven UNESCO world heritage sites , including five world cultural heritage sites and two world natural heritage sites. The West African state of Senegal ratified the World Heritage Convention in 1976, and in 1978 the island of Gorée was one of the twelve sites that were the first to be included in the World Heritage List. The last World Heritage Site to date in Senegal was registered in 2012.

The sites that are intended for nomination for inclusion in the World Heritage List are entered in the tentative list . Currently (2016) eight sites are entered in the tentative list of Senegal, the last entry was made in 2005.
