World Heritage in Burkina Faso
The World Heritage in Burkina Faso (as of 2019) includes three UNESCO World Heritage sites . Burkina Faso ratified the World Heritage Convention in 1987, and the first World Heritage site was added to the World Heritage List in 2009. The last World Heritage site to date was registered in 2019.

The fortifications were built to protect the former Trans-Saharan trade . Much of the facility has not yet been excavated, so there is little knowledge of the facility.
