World Heritage in the Democratic Republic of the Congo
The world heritage in the Democratic Republic of the Congo includes (as of 2018) five UNESCO world heritage sites , all of which are world natural heritage sites. The Democratic Republic of the Congo ratified the World Heritage Convention in 1974, and the first World Heritage site was added to the World Heritage List in 1979. The last World Heritage Site to date was registered in 1996, and all five sites are on the Red List of World Heritage in Danger .
