World Heritage in Tanzania
The world heritage in Tanzania (as of 2017) includes seven UNESCO world heritage sites , including three world cultural heritage sites, three world natural heritage sites and a mixed cultural and natural heritage site. Tanzania ratified the World Heritage Convention in 1977, and the first World Heritage site was added to the World Heritage List in 1979. The last World Heritage site to date was registered in 2006, and one site is on the Red List of World Heritage in Danger .
