Werner Katzengruber

Werner Katzengruber (born July 13, 1963 in Hall in Tirol ) is an Austrian non-fiction author , communications consultant, behavioral trainer and coach who lives in Munich .

Life and career

Werner Katzengruber learned to play drums and bass as a student . With the help of his drum teacher, he was admitted to the conservatory as a visiting student and received a diploma as a bassist in 1982. He then went on tour with a band and was also active as a journalist; Among other things, he wrote articles for the Austrian lifestyle magazine Wiener and for various music magazines. He did his community service in the early 1980s in a Lebenshilfe care center for the severely disabled. In order to earn the money for a subsequent study, he worked in the music industry and founded a consulting company and a music publisher, which he sold again after a year.

From 1983 Katzengruber studied psychology in Germany , the USA and Switzerland with a focus on communication psychology . He then took a course with a focus on media marketing at the Bavarian Academy for Advertising and Marketing (BAW) in Munich, which he completed as a media marketing specialist (BAW) . In addition, from 1985 to 1989 he completed “training as a systemic coach ” in the USA and Switzerland .

In addition, Katzengruber continued to deal with music; Among other things, he wrote four music textbooks for bass, guitar , keyboard and drums, which were published in 1989 by Signum-Medien-Verlag in Munich and some have since appeared in several editions, and together with Peter Myrda wrote a lexicon on popular music, which was published in 1991 in Munich Compact-Verlag came out.

Since 1994 Katzengruber has worked as a communication consultant and behavioral trainer as well as a personality coach for companies and individuals. In 1998 he founded the Raycon Consulting Group together with Thomas Ebrahim , of which he was Managing Director Germany from 1998 to 2010 and which now operates as Raycon International based in Oberhaching . In the same year Katzengruber began training as a profiler . Since 2004 Katzengruber has been teaching at the Steinbeis University in Berlin in the areas of sales management, negotiation, presentation and rhetoric as well as at the Stuttgart Institute of Management and Technology. In 2006 he founded the publishing and production company myvolutionmedia , based in Berlin , which deals with the development and production of film-based, interactive media. In 2009 Katzengruber founded the management consultancy KHD - Katzengruber Human Development Group GmbH , based in Starnberg .

Katzengruber's main focus is on strategic personnel development in connection with organizational development as part of a holistic corporate strategy.

Katzengruber also published several non-fiction books on the topics of psychology, leadership, sales and success.

Thanks to his presence in the mass media , Katzengruber became known to a larger audience as a communications consultant and coach. Among other things, he had appearances in radio and television programs such as Bayern 3 , ZDF , ProSieben and RTL II and there were reports by him or about him in print media such as Tagesspiegel , Main-Post , and Hamburger Abendblatt
