River course

source

Its source is in the western half of the Great Lynx, a good one kilometer east-southeast of Luisenhof and just under three kilometers southwest of Dannenwalde . A connecting path running here in north-south direction from Friedheim in the north to Zarenthin in the south divides the lowland into a smaller western and a significantly larger eastern part. The larger part is drained by the Westliche Jäglitz, but the smaller part by the Jäglitz , a left tributary of the Karthane .

course

From its source on the boundary between Dannenwalde in the north and Döllen in the south, it flows through the Great Luch and discharges its water towards the east. In its course it passes the places Zarenthin Aufbau , Dannenwalde and Bärensprung . The district road 7009 between Dannenwalde and Bärensprung is crossed here as well as the old route of the narrow-gauge railway from Rehfeld to Perleberg of the small railways of the West and East Prignitz districts to the east .

In the further course to the south-east it forms the border between the north and south of it lying almost without interruption. In the north , these are Kolrep , Brüsenhagen , Vehlow , Wutike and Drewen . In the south there are Gumtow , Demerthin , Gantikow and Kyritz . The places where it flows from west to east are Kolrep expansion , Heinzhof , Brüsenhagen-Berg , expansion , Steinberg and Karl-Friedrichshof .

muzzle

At the southernmost point of the district of Drewen, on the border with neighboring Kyritz and 750 meters southwest of Grünstelde , the Westliche Jäglitz joins the Jäglitz, which comes from the north and continues south.
