Kolrep is a district of the municipality of Gumtow in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg .

geography

The place is six kilometers north of Gumtow and 29 kilometers east of Perleberg . The Kolrep development residential area, located two kilometers to the southwest, belongs to the district .

Neighboring towns are Breitenfeld in the north, Blumenthal in the east, Vehlow in the south, Dannenwalde in the west and Schönebeck in the northwest.

history

In 1804 there were 173 inhabitants in the 27- hoof village "Kollrep" and there were 31 campfire sites. In addition to a Lehnschulzen , twelve whole farmers, two kossäts and eight lodgers , there was a forge here. At that time the monastery Stift zum Heiligengrabe and the noble family Klitzing were the owners of the place belonging to the Pritzwalkischen district in the Prignitz of the Mark Brandenburg and postally belonging to Kyritz .

On June 30, 2002 Kolrep merged with 15 other communities to form the community of Gumtow. At that time 119 people lived here.
