Schrepkow is a district of the municipality of Gumtow in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg .

geography

The place is 9 kilometers west of Gumtow and 20 kilometers southeast of Perleberg . Largely surrounded by an open agricultural landscape , there are only smaller parts of the forest in the extreme northeast of the district and southeast of the village.

The inhabited part of the municipality Neu Schrepkow , located three kilometers to the northwest, belongs to the place . The neighboring towns are Groß Welle and Welle-Kurier in the north, Kunow and Vehlin in the east, Klein Leppin in the south, and Zernikow and Kletzke in the west.

history

On June 30, 2002 Schrepkow merged with 15 other communities to form the community of Gumtow. At that time the place had 175 inhabitants.

Schrepkow village church

The church is a field stone building from the 14th century. Conversions took place in the 19th century.
