Reviews

Andreas Borcholte rated the album with 9.5 out of 10 possible points and sums it up for Spiegel Online : "The existential fear that always resonated with Tocotronic has now also reached the body."

Franz Tanner from laut.de overwrites his album review with the title "Sultry-euphoric odes for the academic disco":

"The sum of these pop-philosophical considerations raises this album to the highest heights with each listening session or throws it back into the deepest depths, if one just wants to find an overexerted access to the idiosyncratic poetry of Dirk von Lowtzow."

Cover design

The cover shows the words “How we want to live” in red on a brown background. These are words that were written by Elsa Bablitzka. Jan Müller in the January edition of Rolling Stone 2013:

“I looked after this lady during my community service and had a pen friendship with her. ... We have left the word 'life' in capital letters - on the one hand because this word was not in lower case in your letters, on the other hand because it creates a certain urgency. "
