Reviews

laut.de judges critically: "If I listen to individual songs, I tend to be enthusiastic, if I listen to the record in one go, it makes me angry."

On motor.de it is reported: “[...] the times in which the Tocotronic sound lived mainly from switching between 'loud-distorted' and 'quiet-undistorted' are gone, and the singing alternates between being relaxed, Almost speaking, breathtaking soulfulness and malicious quangling. "

Plattentests.de writes: “[...] so the texts have also become more abstract and are no longer only superficially about personal experiences and antipathy towards certain population groups. There is again more room for interpretation, [...] ”and about the English version:“ Translator Mike Halverson seems to have done a good job on the one hand. On the other hand, it could not be avoided that here and there something is often lost when the tocotronic minimalism functions again particularly pointedly. "

Laut.de awards 5 out of 5 points to the remix version and writes: “With all the pieces, it shows again what great melodies most of the Tocotronic songs are based on.” “Whatever the basic idea behind the three Tocos on this album , the result was great in the end! "
