Viktor Ivanovich Sukhorukov
Viktor Ivanovich Sukhorukov ( Russian Виктор Иванович Сухоруков ; born November 10, 1951 in Orechowo-Sujewo , Moscow Oblast ) is a Russian and Soviet actor and folk artist of Russia .
Life
Sukhorukov graduated from the Russian Academy of Theater Arts in Moscow in 1978 and then worked as an actor at the Akimov Theater in Leningrad . In 1982 he was released because of alcohol problems. In 1986 he was accepted into the Lenin Komsomol Theater in Leningrad, where he got major roles in The Steadfast Tin Soldier (1986), Belugin's Wedding (1987), The Dragon (1988) and Les enfants du paradis (1991). In 1989 he got his first film role in Bakenbardy . Suchorukov only became famous in 1997 thanks to his role in Alexei Balabanov's drama The Brother .
In 2004 he was awarded the Russian Nika Film Prize for his portrayal of Emperor Paul I in Poor, Poor Paul . In 2011 he was awarded the Golden Eagle television prize for his role in Stille Seelen . The film paradise of Andrei Konchalovsky , in which he gave the Reich leader SS Heinrich Himmler playing was, at the International Film Festival in Venice in 2016 for the Golden Lion, and for the European Film Awards 2017 nominated. Viktor Sukhorukov is an honorary citizen of his hometown Orechowo-Sujewo. In 2016 a memorial was erected in his honor in the city.
Since 1989 Sukhorukov has appeared in more than 134 film and television productions.
Viktor Sukhorukov was never married and has no children.
