The band Feine Sahne Fischfilet is publicly committed to combating racism, sexism and homophobia. The film shows the tension between politics, right and left violence, starting with the youth of Jan Gorkow in Jarmen , the ultra scene of FC Hansa Rostock , the beginning of its politicization and the associated conflicts with the police and his parents, a dentist and a Civil engineer. When the band realized after the first album (2009) and the appearances that followed that Nazis also felt comfortable at their concerts, they took an open stance against right-wing extremism . The film accompanies Feine Sahne Fischfilet and its members for three years. She was observed by the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Office for the Protection of the Constitution and was repeatedly mentioned in the state's Office for the Protection of the Constitution on charges of anti-state stance .

Awards

At the International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film in 2017, the film received four prizes and thus the most awards at the festival, the DEFA Foundation's sponsorship prize , the Goethe-Institut's documentary film prize, the Verdi service union prize and the thought-disclosure Prize from a jury made up of juvenile and young adult prisoners. In 2018 the film received the Gilde Film Prize in the “Best Documentary” category and the Pop Culture Prize in the “Most Beautiful Story” category.
