Wilfried Bernhard Theising (born September 20, 1962 in Wettringen ) is auxiliary bishop in Münster and official of the Oldenburg official district based in Vechta .

Life

After studying Catholic theology and philosophy at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster and the University of Vienna received Theising on 14 May 1989 at the Great Cathedral in Munster the ordination by the Münster diocesan Bishop Reinhard Lettman . Until 1993 he was chaplain at the provost church St. Stephanus in Beckum and from 1994 to 1997 in the parishes Herz Jesu and St. Elisabeth in Münster. From 1997 to 2003 Theising was pastor of the parish of Ss. Cornelius and Cyprianus in Metelen . On May 31, 2010 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Mina and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Muenster.
