Wilhelm Busch Prize

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Wilhelm Busch Prize for satirical and humorous poetry was originally awarded annually in Stadthagen , Wilhelm Busch's home region . Donors are the Schaumburger Landschaft , the Schaumburger Nachrichten and the Sparkasse Schaumburg .

Since 2006 it has been divided into two categories: the actual Wilhelm Busch Prize and the additional Hans Huckebein Prize (formerly the Wilhelm Busch Prize). The main prize has been endowed with 10,000 euros since 2006, the prize money for the (also divisible) sponsorship prize is 2,500 euros.

Since 2011, the Wilhelm Busch Prize and the Hans Huckebein Prize have only been awarded every two years.
