Will Poulter
William "Will" Jack Poulter (born January 28, 1993 in Hammersmith , United Kingdom ) is a British film actor .
Life
Will Poulter grew up in the London borough of Richmond upon Thames , where he graduated from The Harrodian School , which was only founded in 1993 . Here he was noticed as an actor in the school theater. In 2007 he made his debut as a film actor in the feature film The Son of Rambow . Poulter then played roles in mostly British sketch comedy formats, such as the Comedy Lab in 2008 and the School of Comedy from 2008 to 2010 .
His big breakthrough as an actor came in 2010 when he played a leading role in the literary film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Journey on Dawn .
At the British Academy Film Awards 2014 he was honored by the audience for the best young actor with the EE Rising Star Award. In September 2014, he played the role of Gally in the science fiction film Maze Runner - The Chosen in the Labyrinth , a film adaptation of the novel The Chosen - In the Labyrinth by James Dashner .
In 2015 he appeared on the side of Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy in The Revenant in the role of the young Jim Bridger .
With the audio book version of the dystopian novel "The Wall" by John Lanchester , he appeared for the first time as an audio book speaker in 2019.
