William H. Sims

William H. Sims was an American politician . Between 1878 and 1882 he was lieutenant governor of the state of Mississippi .

There are virtually no usable sources about William Sims. Not even his life data have been passed on. It is certain that he lived at least temporarily in the state of Mississippi and belonged to the Democratic Party . In 1877 he was elected Lieutenant Governor of Mississippi, alongside John Marshall Stone . He held this office between 1878 and 1882. He was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate . Then his track is lost again.
