Willows is a city ( City ) in the state of California in the United States . It is located in Glenn County and also forms its county seat . At the 2010 census , Willows had 6,166 residents.
geography
The city is located in the Sacramento Valley in central northern California. To the west is the northern part of the California Coast Mountains and to the east is the northern part of the Sierra Nevada . The city of Redding is approximately 118 km north and the California capital Sacramento is approximately 121 kilometers southeast. About 7 miles (11.265 km) south of town is the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge .
