The cadastral community of Theißing (sometimes also Theissing ) is located in Bad St. Leonhard im Lavanttal , Wolfsberg district ( Carinthia ). It includes the places Lichtengraben , Kalchberg, Raning, Wartkogel and Wisperndorf. Until it was incorporated into Bad St. Leonhard on January 1, 1964, Theissing was an independent political municipality.

Localities
The cadastral community, formerly independent, consists of five localities, whereby Theissing itself is not a locality.
Lichtengraben
According to Statistics Austria, the Lichtengraben, sometimes without an article, was the smallest town with 35 inhabitants , together with the quarry . In it are the Lichtengraben Castle and the Painburg ruins .
Kalchberg
Klachberg, also the Kalchberg, is the second largest town in Theissing. It has 147 inhabitants, who live mainly on farms . The only public facility in Kalchberg is the Gasthaus zur Weizenmühle in the so-called Feistritzgraben. Kalchberg borders on the cadastral community Bad St. Leonhard Stadt and Görlitzen. The border to Görlitzen runs in the Feistritzgraben along the Feistritzbach . The Theissing primary school was located in Feistritzgraben from 1897 to 1970 , and the municipal office until 1964.
Raning
Raning has 80 inhabitants and is therefore one of the smallest villages in Bad St. Leonhard.
Wartkogel
The Wartkogel has 64 inhabitants, it is the northernmost town of Bad St. Leonhard.
Wisperndorf
Beside Kliening, Wisperndorf is the second of the two villages in the municipality. It is the largest in Theissing with 396 inhabitants and the second smallest in terms of area. There are two fire departments in Wisperndorf , one of which is a volunteer. The second is a company fire brigade of Stora Enso - sawmill in Wisperndorf, the only factory in the cadastral. Incidentally, there is a riding stable, a chapel and the largest farm in Bad St. Leonhard in Wisperndorf.
