In the years after its founding, the line-up of the band changed several times, with the band paused for private reasons from 2003 to 2008 before a permanent line-up was found in 2009. At a concert that same year together with Pentagram , Uta Plotkin came on stage as a guest singer. Due to the positive feedback, she became a permanent member and sole singer of the band. In January 2010 the band recorded their next album South of Salem . In September Adult Swim released the sampler Metal Swim , which contains the new Witch Mountain song Veil of the Forgotten . Other bands on it include Boris , Torche , Kylesa , Isis and Skeletonwitch . The sampler appeared as a download . Then the band went on tour with Saint Vitus . 2011 appeared on the band's own label South of Salem , which was produced by Billy Anderson . The band also played on South by Southwest and toured the west coast of the United States with Christian Mistress and Premonition 13 . A little later, the band reached a contract with Profound Lore Records , about which the 2012 Anderson-produced album Cauldron of the Wild was released. Then Neal Munson can be heard as the new bass player. In the same year the band played at the Scion Rock Fest before they went on tour through the USA and Canada in June . In August, Scion Audio / Visual brought the band back into the studio to record a single from the band. A five-week tour was also sponsored, which took place in October and November through the United States. Then the single was released under the name Bloodhound , before a European tour followed in the spring of 2013 , which stretched from Iceland to Poland . The band played with Cough and also played at the Roadburn Festival and the Desert Festivals in Berlin and London . After the last gig in Iceland, the band went back to the USA to work on new material. In addition, a few appearances followed together with Blue Öyster Cult and Candlemass . Again with Anderson as producer, the band recorded the album Mobile of Angels , which was released in the fall of 2014. Before the release, the band had gone on a European tour with Hawkwind . After the album was released, Uta Plotkin left the band.

style

laut.de wrote that the bandcrossesdoom metal with blues . The lyrics are dark and thoughtful. According to Norman R. from musikreviews.de, there isno pure Doom Metal to be heardon Mobile of Angels . The solos and jams in particularwould have a strong blues influence. The speed of the songs is curbed and the songs are mostly overly long.
