Wito acorn

Wito Eichel (born February 1, 1913 , † September 17, 2002 ) was a German translator , poet and university professor.

Life

Acorn came from Kashubia . Joseph Breitbach's notes reveal a homoerotic relationship between the two and a "marriage" in Paris around 1933.

Eichel wrote numerous texts for dubbed scripts for DEFA versions of foreign language films and was most recently artistic director of the DEFA studio for dubbing. He was also a professor at the Babelsberg Film School , where he was director of the research section from 1970 to 1973, then director of artistic education until 1978 and, most recently, artistic director of the HFF live studio from 1978 to 1981. He also wrote some poems.

His son is the actor and voice actor Kaspar Eichel .
