Wolf butter
Wolf Butter (* 1949 in Aue as Wolf-Rüdiger Butter ) is a German composer. In addition to chamber and ballet music, he composes drama, radio play and film music.
Life
Wolf Butter grew up in Hartenstein (Saxony) and went to school. His father Karl was the mayor and local chronicle there and participated in the workers 'and peasants' theater, which regularly organized performances of the Altenburg prince robbery at Hartenstein Castle . Wolf Butter studied clarinet at the Robert Schumann Conservatory in Zwickau , worked as a stage musician , composer, lecturer, director and actor .
In addition to engagements at the Berliner Volksbühne , the Berliner Ensemble and the Porcupines, he held teaching positions at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin and from 1999 to 2005 a professorship for musical role-playing at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna. For years he has been touring Germany and Switzerland with solo evenings and musical-literary programs by the "Galgentrio" and is active as a singing lecturer at the Theater Academy Vorpommern. There are also numerous performances with his long-term partner, the flamenco dancer and choreographer Nora Lantez.
