Wolfgang Erich Parge
Wolfgang Erich Parge (born February 9, 1907 in Pinneberg ; † July 17, 1968 in Nuremberg ) was a German actor , cabaret artist and radio play speaker .
Life
Wolfgang Erich Parge (also Wolfgang E. Parge or Wolfgang-Erich Parge) grew up in a Hamburg civil servant's parental home, where his mother played in a theater club, which is where his passion for this profession came from. But before he could do this, he completed a commercial apprenticeship. He received his first engagement at the Harz mountain theater in Thale with the role of Romeo in William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet . In Hamburg's fairy tale operetta theaters, he then switched to teasing and comedies. From 1932 he began to play in Berlin at the Central Theater under Heinz Hilpert and at the Plaza under Ralph Arthur Roberts , which was followed by engagements in Luckenwalde and Karlsbad . After 1935 there was a year of collaboration with the cabaret Die Acht Enfesselten .
After the Second World War he became a copywriter and programmer in the reopened cabaret Schall und Rauch and was successful in many pieces on several Berlin theaters until he finally started at the Cabaret Theater Distel after the Hajo cabaret in Berlin's Albrechtstraße , where he worked until 1954. At the same time he began to work for the radio, where he supervised colorful programs, especially for the Berlin radio , in which he participated, as well as in radio plays. His involvement was also in great demand in feature films. Wolfgang Erich Parge wrote an operetta for which Hans Hendrik Wehding composed the music.
