Wolfgang Weber (historian, 1964)

Wolfgang Weber (* 1964 in Dornbirn ) is an Austrian historian .

Life

Wolfgang Weber studied history at the Universities of Innsbruck , Salzburg , Klagenfurt , Vienna , Essex , at the University College London and at the Free University of Berlin . He was appointed to the University of Derby (UK) in 1997 , to the University of Wolverhampton (UK) in 1999 and in 2005 as Professor of History and Social Studies at the Vorarlberg University of Education in Feldkirch , which was founded in 2007 .

From 1994 to 2011 Weber was head of the administrative archive at the Vorarlberg State Archives in Bregenz . Since 2005 he has been a lecturer at the University of Innsbruck .
