Wolfram de Marco

Wolfram de Marco (born June 25, 1966 in Ansbach ) is a German composer .

Life

Wolfram de Marco began learning the violin at the age of six . At 14 he learned the guitar and later won several awards at the nationwide music competition Jugend musiziert . After graduating from high school, he studied piano and classical guitar at the University of Music in Würzburg . Already during his studies he worked as a studio musician. After graduating in 1992, he worked as a composer and producer for Gerryland Studios .

From 1994 to 1999 he lived in Frankfurt am Main , where he wrote the music for television, advertising and image spots as a composer. He made his debut as a film composer with the TV comedy Walli, die Eisfrau, broadcast in 1998 and directed by Wilhelm Engelhardt . He was able to establish himself as a film composer and wrote the music for short and television films as well as with gangs and the five-friends films for feature films.

De Marco has lived in Los Angeles since 1999 and has been married to the American actress Marie-Alise Recasner since July 27, 2002 . This made him the son-in-law of Ron Recasner and stepfather of actor Kirk Podell .
