World Gone Wrong is Bob Dylan's 29th studio album and the last one he had to release to fulfill his contract with Sony from 1988. Like the previous album Good As I Been to You, it only contains traditionals , which Dylan performs without a backing band. He produced the record himself and recorded all of the songs in his Malibu home . The sound quality is correspondingly modest (there is even a rumor that he recorded the songs on a cassette recorder ), the guitar is not always in tune, etc. Nevertheless, World Gone Wrong is considered a respectable album, which has been praised by the critics for its originality and with a Grammy Awarded. Was published World Gone Wrong 1993 on Columbia Records . It wasn't until 1997 that Bob Dylan should record an album with his own compositions again.
