Xanten reports

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Xantener reports (subtitle: Excavation - Research - Presentation ) are the main series of publications of the LVR Archaeological Park and RömerMuseum Xanten . The series includes edited volumes with essays from the Roman provincial area with a natural focus on exploring the Colonia Ulpia Traiana, as well as monographic excavation reports, monographic processing of excavations and exhibition catalogs.

The first volume was published in 1992 by Rheinland-Verlag (on commission from Rudolf-Habelt-Verlag Bonn) in Pulheim . From volume 9 (2000) the series went to the Philipp von Zabern publishing house . Volume 32 was also published in a form with the same content as a softcover edition by Nünnerich-Asmus-Verlag .
