The Yarrow Stadium is a stadium in Westown in New Plymouth , Taranaki , New Zealand , which for the sports football , rugby and cricket is used. New Zealand Rugby World magazine named it the third best rugby stadium in the world in May 2009 because Yarrow Stadium (also known as Taranaki Stadium during the 2011 Rugby Union World Cup ) complies with the International Rugby Board's regulations as a "clean stadium". The stadium can accommodate a maximum of 25,000 people and it is home to games of the U-20 World Cup in 2015 and the Rugby Union World Cup in 2011.
