The Hurricanes (formerly Wellington Hurricanes ) are a rugby union team from the New Zealand capital Wellington . The team plays in the international Super 14 league. She represents the regional associations East Coast RFU , Poverty Bay RFU , Hawke's Bay RU , Horowhenua-Kapiti RFU , Manawatu RU , Taranaki RFU , Wairarapa Bush RFU , Wanganui RFU and Wellington RFU .
