2002 season of Super 12

The 2003 season was the eighth edition of Super 12 , a rugby union competition with twelve franchise teams from Australia , New Zealand and South Africa .

A total of 69 games were played, with each team playing a round robin against the eleven other teams. There followed two semi-finals and finally the final. The champions were the blues from the New Zealand city of Auckland for the third time .
