Season 2000 of Super 12

The 2001 season was the sixth edition of Super 12 , a rugby union competition with twelve franchise teams from Australia , New Zealand and South Africa .

A total of 69 games were played, with each team playing a round robin against the eleven other teams. There followed two semi-finals and finally the final. The first champions were the Brumbies from the Australian capital Canberra .

    • 4 points if you win
    • 2 points if there is a tie
    • 0 points in the event of a loss (before possible bonus points)
