The 2007 season was the second edition of Super 14 , a rugby union competition with 14 franchise teams from Australia , New Zealand and South Africa (from 1996 to 2005 the competition was called Super 12).
The season began on February 2, 2007 and ended with the final on May 19, 2007. A total of 94 games were played, with each team playing a round robin against the 13 other teams. There followed two semi-finals and finally the final. The Bulls from the South African city of Pretoria became champions for the first time ; it was also the first title win by a South African team.

- 4 points if you win
- 2 points if there is a tie
- 0 points in the event of a loss (before possible bonus points)
- 1 bonus point for four or more successful attempts , regardless of the final score
- 1 bonus point if you lose less than seven points
