The Zehner ( Ladin Sas dales Diesc , Italian Sasso delle Dieci ) is a 3026  m high local mountain of Wengen . Its name comes from the fact that it - like its neighboring mountain Neuner - makes it easier for Wengen to estimate the time of day using the position of the sun. Seen from there, the sun is about ten o'clock above the summit. The number forms part of the ridge between the Wengental and Fanes -Hochfläche. It is located in the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park . His first ascent was achieved in 1887 .
