Zhang Cheng ( Chinese  张 诚 , Pinyin Zhāng Chéng ; born December 29, 1994 ) is a Chinese ice hockey player who has been playing for the amateur team from Qiqihar again since 2017 .

Career

Zhang Cheng began his career as a hockey player on the Qiqihar amateur team , with which he won the 2010 Chinese Ice Hockey League . From 2012 to 2017 he played for China Dragon , then the only professional team in the country with whom he played in the multinational Asia League ice hockey . When the team was disbanded in 2017, he returned to Qiqihar.

International

For China , Zhang Cheng competed in the junior division at the 2010 U18 World Championships in Division III and 2011 and 2012, and the 2011 and 2014 U20 World Championships in Division II and 2012 , when he was named the best striker of the tournament, and 2013 in the Division III part. At the U18 World Cup in 2012 and the U20 World Cup in 2014, he not only acted as the team captain of the team from China, but was also voted the best player on his team. He was also on the ice for his colors at the IIHF U20 Challenge Cup of Asia in 2012 .

In the senior division, the striker was part of China's squad at the Division II World Championships in 2013 , 2014 , 2015 , 2016 and 2017 . He also represented his colors at the Winter Asian Games 2017 and in the Olympic qualification for the Games in Pyeongchang 2018 .
