Ziegenhof is a deserted area in the municipality of Gutenstetten in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lay on the Ziegengraben, a right tributary of the Aisch . Approx. The Eichelberg rises 0.5 km to the west ( 351  m above sea level ). Large fields belonged to the farm in the south. Today the field names Ziegenhoferberg and Ziegengraben still remind of the place.

history

The place was originally called "Ziegenbacher-" or "Ziegenberger Hof". He originally was under the monastery Münchsteinach , then as in 1561 but after the hospital Ansbach Valid given.

Towards the end of the 18th century, Ziegenhof belonged to the municipality of Pahres . The high court was exercised by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth city ​​bailiff Neustadt an der Aisch . The farm had the Brandenburg-ansbachische hospital Ansbach as a landlord . In 1790 the farm was destroyed by several Jews. Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Ziegenhof was given house number 35 in the village of Pahres.

As part of the community edict, Ziegenhof was assigned to the Gutenstetten tax district formed in 1811, and from 1813 it belonged to the rural community of Pahres. After 1861 the farm was no longer mentioned.

The place has been Evangelical Lutheran since the Reformation. The inhabitants of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination were parish after St. Johannes Baptist and Laurentius (Gutenstetten) .
