.om is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the state of Oman . It was on 11. April 1996 introduced and approved by the State Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA Telecommunications Regulatory Authority managed). The TRA took over the official administration from Omtel in 2008 , the technical infrastructure comes from the Australian AusRegistry .
