This is a comprehensive listing of official releases by System of a Down, a four-piece American rock band, formed in 1995 in Los Angeles, California. The band has released five studio albums, fourteen singles, and two extended plays (EPs) among several other recordings. Toxicity was the most successful album for the band, earning a Triple-Platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).[1] Also they are the first band since The Beatles to get a pair of chart topping debuts within the same calendar year. They did this with their release of Mezmerize and Hypnotize in 2006.[2]

This list does not include material that members of System of a Down recorded with other bands or any solo projects.
