(11333) Forman is an asteroid of the inner main belt , which on 20 April 1996 by the Czech astronomer Petr Pravec and Lenka Kotková (then under her maiden name Lenka Šarounová ) at the observatory Ondřejov ( IAU code 557) in Ondřejov u Prahy discovered has been.
The mean diameter of the asteroid was roughly calculated to be 3.601 km (± 0.798).
Mean distance from the sun ( major semi-axis ), eccentricity and inclination of the orbit plane of the asteroid lie within the respective limit values that are defined for the Nysa group, a group of asteroids named after (44) Nysa (also called Hertha family, according to (135) Hertha ).
(11333) Forman was named on November 23, 1999 after the Czech -born American film director Miloš Forman . Forman's films highlighted in the dedication are The Black Peter , The Fire Brigade Ball , One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest , Hair , Ragtime and Amadeus .
